Looking Fabulous Takes Time
Politics is no longer the only game in town as Washington, D.C. climbs the social ranks as one of the country's most stylish urban cities. At the center, where you can sense the proximity to power, W Washington DC elevates your experience to the modern realm of W style by injecting bold new cutting-edge design into the rich Beaux Art history. Cross the party line as you push past the city landscape and gain behind the scenes access where the influential powers come to play.
Starting August 2018, we'll be busy reimagining our hotel so your visit to W Washington DC will be even more memorable. Fabulous design is coming soon, stayed tuned for a fresh new look. To bring the new design to life, W Washington DC has tapped into some of the design industry's brightest visionaries to collaborate with W Hotels award-winning design team through a partnership with Studio GAIA.
From the Living Room, W's see and be seen lobby, to guestrooms and suites as well as the legendary POV rooftop bar with unparalleled views of the city, the new look will mix modern design with playful, only-at-W elements that pay homage to the city's past and present.
Your transformation experience will begin the moment you step into the Living Room, where local leaders rub elbows with international influencers over craft cocktails. The Living Room's singular design interweaves subtle nods to the city's iconography and monumental design. The party will continue at our signature restaurant, an open-kitchen culinary destination celebrating the art of farm to flame cooking. Oak beams and rich red and copper hues set the tone, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. Go high or go low with panoramic views at POV or underground rendez-vous at our intimate new speakeasy. Our notorious rooftop lounge and terrace, POV, takes inspiration from D.C.'s Brutalist design, incorporating floor-to-ceiling glass for maximum transparency.
Whether you're ready to drop out or planning another run, our reimagined guestrooms and suites are the place to recharge. With a spacious studio floor plan, each of our 317 guestrooms cleverly remixes classical D.C. architecture with modern details and bold angles inspired by the Washington Monument. Modular seating makes room for surprise guests, while open-flow bathrooms, full-length mirrors, marble vanities and brightly lit boutique closets are ideal for getting glam or suiting up.
